The Central Research & Technology (R&T) is a multinational organization within Airbus, conducting research projects for new technologies across various domains. It comprises a team of highly educated scientists, experts, and research project leaders based at multiple sites in Airbus's core countries. The department pioneers the future of aerospace by exploring and delivering ambitious new technologies for Airbus's next-generation aircraft portfolio and divisions, in collaboration with leading academic and scientific institutions.
The position involves a wide range of roles and activities, including developing advocacy plans, stakeholder mapping, content creation, and performance monitoring of advocacy and stakeholder engagement activities.
The jobholder will serve as a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (f/m/d), working as part of the Central R&T team and reporting directly to the head of Central R&T. They will collaborate closely with Airbus Corporate Communications, particularly with the Technology, Engineering, and Product Decarbonisation Communication team. Responsibilities include driving impactful communication within Central R&T, ensuring consistency with corporate messages, and aligning with communication and brand guidelines. The role involves proposing and coordinating stakeholder engagement plans targeting various audiences, including the internal R&T community, external research institutions, political stakeholders, universities, and research centers. Coordination with internal teams managing these audiences is essential. The topics include electrification, materials, communication technologies, AI, virtual product engineering, quantum technologies, among other disruptive technologies. The jobholder will provide guidance and recommendations to the Central R&T community on effective communication strategies to positively influence stakeholders.
