Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager to join the Global Logistics team at our Hero Hub in Berlin.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will work hands-on with cross-functional technical teams and senior stakeholders to achieve broad company objectives. You will be part of a team that works closely with our SVP & Senior Tech Management, driving top management agenda from strategic planning to successful delivery.

  • You own and drive complex tech initiatives & programs across different cross-functional teams and domains.
  • You assist Tech senior management in planning and executing strategic initiatives focusing on Reliability, Security, Cost-efficiency, and drive end-to-end Technical Migrations.
  • Using your problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, project management skills, and technical knowledge, you will help product and engineering leads implement complex changes.
  • You ensure transparency of project performance through reporting and KPIs, regularly updating senior management and stakeholders on progress.
  • You foster an Engineering excellence mindset and support continuous improvement of engineering practices to ensure valuable outcomes.

In our Logistics Team, you'll address high-impact challenges to make last-mile delivery more efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly enhance experiences for riders, customers, and merchants globally, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Technical project or program management, delivery lead, or cross-team Tech Lead.
  • Proven track record leading technical programs in a fast-paced multinational organization, such as Infrastructure Migrations, Third-party Tooling Migration, Building APIs/services from scratch, or Security & Compliance initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or substantial technical experience.
  • Experience with technical documentation and tools like Confluence and JIRA confidently.
  • Structured, highly organized work approach, familiar with project tools and trackers.
  • Excellent people skills, stakeholder collaboration, negotiation, risk, and dependency management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
