Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Staff Specialist Sustainability to drive regulatory compliance and material declaration excellence. You will interpret global chemical regulations, translate them into actionable strategies, and lead cross-functional projects across Sustainability, Procurement, Quality, and Product Engineering.

The role emphasizes stewardship, customer/authority engagement, and representation in industry groups, with English fluency required and German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or Master’s in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of product/material compliance experience.
• Experience handling inquiries from customers/authorities on compliance topics.
• Ability to train/regulatory awareness programs on material compliance.
• Interest in sustainable materials, circular economy and future regulations.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and interpret global chemical and product-related regulations (REACH, RoHS, PFAS, etc.).
• Translate regulatory developments into compliance strategies for Infineon products.
• Serve as internal expert for material declaration and stewardship.
• Manage material declaration processes and compliance docs.
• Evaluate customer declaration requirements (IMDS, IPC-1752) and support requests.
• Drive cross-functional compliance projects with Sustainability, Procurement, Quality, and more.
• Represent Infineon in industry orgs and committees, e.g., ZVEI.
