Staff Software Engineer - Phone Assistant (x/f/m)

What we do

You would be joining a team responsible for building and scaling a new product in the Doctolib suite: our Phone Assistant product with the vision to revolutionize access to care for patients and day-to-day practice management for practitioners. This opportunity will allow you to leverage the latest technologies in AI, NLP, and Voice Recognition to build delightful user experiences and scale your product to millions of users.

What you’ll do

As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Setting technical vision and defining your product roadmap for the next quarters
• Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining new and existing applications to reach the team’s goals
• Ensuring the resilience, scalability, and robustness of services
• Driving the architecture of the product while following Domain-Driven Design
• Providing technical leadership & mentorship to other engineers
• Joining us on our quest to continuously improve the way we work

Who you are

We’re on the lookout for a professional who is proactive, curious, collaborative, and interested in cutting-edge technologies and AI. If you don’t meet all the requirements below but believe this opportunity matches your expectations and experience, we still encourage you to apply!

• You have at least 10+ years of software engineering experience and are familiar with NodeJS, Typescript, and Python.
• You have strong technical skills in Backend development and real-time features.
• You continuously upskill those around you and set the bar for technical quality.
• You are an effective communicator and can work on projects within and outside your domain.
• You have a “user first” mindset and want to dedicate yourself to creating technologies and solutions that enhance the day-to-day experience for our users.
• Experience working on AI products would be a plus.
