Job Description:
Are you the one for the bigger picture? Do you want to use your consulting skills to translate business requirements into a future IT solution landscape? As an IT Architect, you will be responsible for further developing our existing Master Data application suite as well as guiding our MD landscape to the next level by providing a consistent Master Data Application Architecture as basis for further digitalization efforts. You will maintain close networks and relationships with other Architects to drive and participate in numerous projects, initiatives and boards within Infineon to enable best practice Master Data processes.
In your new role you will:
- Abstract business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into a comprehensive system architecture
- Maintain and enhance the IT As-Is Architecture consisting of a suite of home grown IT information systems.
- Design and implement master data solutions that meet the organization’s business needs
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of standard applications in MDM, including data governance, data quality, and data integration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business requirements
- Develop and maintain data models, data flows, and system architecture diagrams
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality across the organization
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement master data solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation of master data architecture and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in MDM
You anticipate the needs of your customers and engage actively with them about their business processes. Furthermore, you like to think “outside the box” and to provide an “outside-in” view towards your internal customers.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or related field
- At least 5 years of experience Master Data Management, data architecture, or related field with deep understanding of Master Data processes
- Deep understanding of standard applications in MDM, including data governance, data quality, and data integration
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration technologies
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and patterns
