To further strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) at our Duesseldorf location we are looking for a pro-active and results-oriented (Senior) Staff Product Marketing Engineer to drive the growth of our next Generation Automotive MCU Products.

Your Role:
• Support of Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
• Collection, definition, and close follow-up on Global customer requirements
• Coordination of projects with dedicated major automotive customers
• Work with internal marketing teams and design section to define and follow-up on roadmaps for Renesas microcontroller • Work with internal 1st and 2nd level support teams for Renesas products
• Coordination and effective information exchange with Renesas Japan
• Reporting of performance indicators (KPI) to upper management
• Develop and drive market introduction plan (e.g., lead customers, lead market segment/ application, etc.) worldwide
• Ensure availability and drive responsible departments for the complete “product package” (documentation, starter kits, for market introduction including training of the sales force for assigned products
• Produce public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.

Qualifications

• Graduate in electronic engineering
• Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in product marketing in semiconductor industry
• Experience in the automotive market, understanding of Carmaker and Tier 1 requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers and Eco-systems
• Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
• Work with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office)

Ideally experience in:
o Automotive system design and E/E architecture
o Customer negotiations
o Product definition and requirement management
o Handling of complex technical RfQ’s in collaboration with key customers
o MCU architecture / Networking
o Functional Safety / Security
o Embedded Software
