As a Staff Product Application Engineer (f/m/div) in the Memory Solutions Business Line, you are responsible for converting business opportunities from "Design-In to Design-Win." You will interact with our worldwide customer base via phone, email, or on-site visits. This includes answering technical questions, conducting measurements, debugging, and interpreting datasheets, often in collaboration with other Application Engineers (AEs) or Field Application Engineers (FAEs).

Job Description

In this role, you will:

1. Maintain and develop relationships with internal teams in Development, Product Marketing, Quality, Sales (FSE & FAE), and other application groups through regular experience sharing sessions.
2. Create technical customer presentations
3. Analyze competitors’ products through internet research, trade fairs, datasheet comparisons, and reports.
4. Create application tools such as application notes, evaluation boards, programming tools, demonstrators, and documentation.
5. Conduct application-relevant measurements and evaluations and participate in validation processes with internal and external partners.
6. Participate in system analysis to evaluate functionality.
7. Support global contacts for a defined product group, including regional AEs.
8. Conduct technical training for sales teams, FAEs, and customers.

Your Profile

As a Staff Product Application Engineer, you are committed to team results and company success, focusing on solutions that create mutual value and promoting continuous quality in your work area.

You are best suited if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience working in a laboratory environment with daily customer interactions, including training and joint debugging
• Technical experience in software development, especially Linux open source
• Ability to understand system schematics and board layouts
• Expertise in electrical testing procedures and systems engineering
• Strong analytical skills for complex technical problems
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a good team player
• Fluent English skills; German is a plus
