Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in Germany and other EMEA countries as assigned; ensure alignment with local legal requirements, practices, and cultural expectations.
  • Work with all levels of management and employees to ensure timely and effective resolution of HR and management issues, including performance management, employee relations and change management.
  • Manage employee relations issues with a focus on resolution, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Support or lead country-specific HR initiatives such as policy development, labor negotiations with local works councils, or cultural integration.
  • Monitor local country labor law compliance, assessing impact of any needed changes and implementation approach. Partner with global leadership on assessing magnitude of needed changes.
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) stakeholders such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Rewards, to ensure effective implementation and delivery of HR programs
  • Partner with global HRBPs on workforce planning and change management activities that impact the local populations that you support
  • Support local employee communications (in English and German)
  • Contribute to regional or global HR projects and continuous improvement and automation efforts.


Position Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in HR / HR Admin in a corporate environment
  • Team Player with a positive attitude
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Embraces new technology and finds ways to implement such tools efficiently
  • Flexible, autonomous and hands on
  • Exceptional attention to detail / administration / competent in HR processes
  • Experience working with a Works Council in Germany
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Planning, organizational and Change Management Skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand commercial implications of HR activities
  • Previous experience of working for a multinational company in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in German and English

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €51,750 - €86,250 Min salary 51,750
