About AMBOSS

We are AMBOSS, the company behind a powerful learning and clinical decision support tool striving to empower physicians across the globe to provide the best possible care. We’re looking for a Staff FullStack Engineer to help our team responsible for the internal content management platform tackle exciting challenges ahead.

You’ll bring expertise and hands-on guidance to a team that cares about the mission as much as they care about how they get there. If you are passionate about technology, purpose, and the people you work with, and would love to combine both qualities in one job, we can’t wait to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Shape the future creation and usage of our medical content to optimize its impact. The curated medical content is central to AMBOSS, edited daily by editors and consumed by most product teams.
  • Be a thought leader, constantly seeking to improve our tech stack and team processes.
  • Actively develop solutions, including writing code and tests, conducting reviews, and designing solutions.
  • Take charge and contribute to an agile team, fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Maintain high-quality standards while keeping solutions lean.
  • Elevate and maintain team spirit and camaraderie, especially in our recently revamped team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Product Designer to create an exceptional experience for both our editorial team and dependent product teams.
  • Help shape a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack JavaScript software developer.
  • Experience mentoring team members and in team leadership roles.
  • Background in agile management.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • If you have a technical product manager buddy you've worked with before, consider bringing them along to continue working together.
Who Is This For?

This position is ideal for experienced individual contributors who love to 'get things done' and want to work with a team of seasoned developers, engaging in daily development work and pragmatic, sustainable solutions with a high impact on AMBOSS’s success.

Benefits

AMBOSSians tell us that innovative work energizes them, and our employee benefits help them feel appreciated and empowered. We invest in every AMBOSSian with a package supporting financial, physical, and mental health, as well as work-life harmony.
