DeepRec.ai in Munich is looking for a senior robotics software engineer to architect the on-robot software platform end-to-end (HAL, control integration, process orchestration) and own whole-body motion and indoor mobility.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on robotic hardware experience.
• Proficiency with ROS2, Linux, Jetson platforms and container-based deployment on arm64.
• Experience with Git and CI workflows for robotics/embedded systems.
• Solid knowledge of robot kinematics/dynamics, control/actuation, and mobility.

A deep-tech humanoid robotics scale-up, building physical AI. Small, high-impact team working directly with the CTO.

What You'll Do

• Architect the on-robot software platform end-to-end (HAL, control integration, process orchestration)
• Own whole-body motion and indoor mobility
• Own functional-safety and reliability posture
• Build the OTA and fleet-management backbone - staged rollouts, rollback, remote provisioning, health monitoring
• Instrument the stack for observability (logging, metrics, tracing, black-box recording)
• Lead hardware-software integration: bring-up, calibration and integration of new sensors, actuators and components

What You'll Bring
