Devanthro GmbH is seeking a seasoned robotics engineer to architect and develop the end-to-end humanoid robot platform, including HAL, control integration, and OTA fleet back-end. You will lead hardware-software integration, advance whole-body motion, autonomous navigation, and observability across a growing fleet, with ownership across abstraction levels and direct interaction with the CTO.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with robotic hardware (5+ years).
• Authorization to work in Germany.
• Experience with ROS2, Linux and Jetson platforms.
• Experience with git and CI workflows for robotics/embedded systems.
• Ability to work across abstraction levels with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop the end-to-end robot platform, including HAL, control integration, and process orchestration.
• Design and implement whole-body motion and indoor mobility systems.
• Own the functional‑safety and reliability posture to ensure safe operation.
• Develop OTA and fleet‑operations back‑end, managing staged rollouts, rollbacks, remote provisioning, and health monitoring across a growing fleet.
• Implement observability across the fleet, including logging, metrics, tracing, and black‑box recording.

What You Will Bring

• Passion to build and deploy capable and reliable humanoid robots.
• Affinity and love for complex systems – a deep‑tech focus on home care.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with robotic hardware.
• Solid understanding and extensive hands‑on experience with:
  • ROS2
  • Container‑based deployment on arm64
  • Linux
  • Jetson platforms
• Experience with git and CI workflows for robotics/embedded systems.
• Hands‑on experience with robot kinematics and dynamics, control & actuation, navigation & mobility.
• High level of ownership, ability to work at varying abstraction levels, strong interdisciplinary communication, and pragmatic problem solving.
• Existing authorization to work in Germany.

Nice‑to‑have

• Hands‑on experience with bi‑manual mobile‑manipulator platforms.
• Experience with teleoperation systems – WebRTC, Unity, real‑time robot control links.
• Fleet/device management and OTA at scale, deploying robots in the field.
• Firmware and low‑level drivers; end‑effector / gripper integration.
• Awareness of robot safety standards.
