Your Role and Impact
In this position, you will help define the long-term technical strategy for our frontend systems while guiding and mentoring senior engineers. You will take charge of critical project aspects, from the initial concept to deployment, and ensure that our solutions meet both technical standards and customer needs. By collaborating closely with Product Owners and stakeholders, you will bridge the gap between technical excellence and business goals.

• Shape Technical Vision: Lead strategic architecture decisions in alignment with leadership.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Coach senior engineers and act as a role model for one or more teams.
• Ownership of the Entire SDLC: Oversee each step of the Software Development Lifecycle, from concept through testing and deployment.
• Drive Technological Innovation: Propose and implement technical improvements and innovative features.
• Close Collaboration with Product: Partner with Product Owners and other stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Outcome-Focused Approach: Prioritize tasks effectively to achieve results that bring real value to our product.
• Continuous Improvement: Reduce technical debt, maintain high-quality standards, and identify areas for enhancement.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
We are looking for someone who can balance a passion for innovation with the practicalities of delivering a stable, robust product. You should be comfortable tackling complex engineering challenges and guiding others to do the same.

• Several years of professional experience (ideally 7+ years) in frontend development, especially with Flutter (Dart) and TypeScript
• Familiarity with FlutterFlow and Angular, plus a bonus if you have worked with Firebase
• Deep understanding of APIs, software architecture, and testing strategies (unit, integration, potentially end-to-end)
• Strong background in the full Software Development Lifecycle, including agile methodologies
• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining complex applications from concept to release
• Ability to lead projects with minimal supervision and demonstrate leadership in architecting solutions
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) to effectively share ideas and mentor junior engineers
• A knack for spotting potential improvements and a drive to keep code clean and maintainable
