Job Description:

The Sr. Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and managing the Technology Infrastructure deliverables during the design and construction phases of Walt Disney Imagineering (Germany)/Disney Cruise Line's new ship build project. This includes coordinating Technology efforts with the Shipyard, Project Team, and external Vendors, with accountability for schedule and financial health of the project.

This position is on-site in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and technical leadership from detailed design through construction of multiple Cruise Ships for Disney.
• Act as the representative of the Marine & Technical (Technology) Studio on the project core team.
• Direct activities of team members and outside vendors in construction preparation.
• Define and document efficient build processes for multiple ship builds related to Technology.
• Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and successful completion of complex projects/programs, including budget management.
• Plan and monitor project progress against baseline plans.
• Manage project configuration, controls, change management, risk management, and testing processes.
• Monitor and control resources, revenue, and costs, managing stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within budget, timescale, and resource constraints.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to project teams.
• Manage projects with accountability for time and cost delivery.
• Utilize project management tools and methodologies, including scheduling, scope, and cost management.
• Coordinate with suppliers and offshore resources, ensuring compliance with Disney security policies.
• Oversee third-party consultants and vendors as the owner's representative.
• Coordinate staffing, budgeting, and strategy issues with management.
• Manage design schedules, labor estimates, budgets, and project controls.
• Report on project status and issues regularly.
• Coordinate multi-discipline scopes of work, integrating all Technology systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in the Hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of project management tools like Smartsheets, Jira, AutoDesk.
• Proven customer focus, trust, and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in Cruise/Hospitality industry preferred.
• Skills in AutoCAD LT, Excel, MS Project, BlueBeam Revu.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
