Job Description:
- This is your new role
- Drive, direct and lead the sourcing and strategy development to achieve a competitive cost structure.
- Provide input into stakeholder requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining competitiveness.
- Perform market research to develop negotiation strategies based on market knowledge and experience.
- Analyze spend categories and market conditions to apply appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Lead commercial negotiations with cross-functional international teams.
- Establish and execute negotiation plans for high-value international projects.
- Develop and lead global sourcing projects, including scope creation, negotiation planning, and results delivery aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage supplier performance in quality, cost, delivery, technology, and service to achieve a best-in-class supply base.
- Implement program tools to achieve purchasing operational excellence.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to secure the best terms and conditions for Nexperia.
This is you
- Master's degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
- MCIPS certification or working towards it.
- Experience leading or participating in cross-site commodity or international procurement projects.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Team builder/player, hands-on worker.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with autonomy.
- Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills on an international level.
