Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer at Qdrant, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process by combining your technical expertise with a keen understanding of customer needs. You will provide tailored solutions demonstrating the value of Qdrant's vector database technology, working closely with potential clients to understand their technical challenges and show how our solutions meet their requirements. Your role is crucial in bridging technical and sales aspects, ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement to successful implementation.

Responsibilities

1. Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, identifying how Qdrant's solutions can address their challenges.
2. Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proofs of concept that articulate the value and benefits of Qdrant's technology.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and develop effective sales strategies.
4. Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, answering questions related to DevOps, distributed systems, and database architecture.
5. Stay updated with industry trends and developments in vector database technology to keep solutions competitive.
6. Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback for product improvement.
