Sr. Payroll Analyst - DACH

DESCRIPTION

Our multicultural Payroll team is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our Payroll Operations Team. We are looking for a strong leader that will take ownership and drive the change in our growing EMEA payroll organization. This individual must be customer obsessed and be eager to dive deep into processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering process efficiency results. The preferred candidate has experience in EMEA payroll processes/payroll systems and has the ability to abstract requirements independently. Key job responsibilities

1. Be a subject matter expert in projects to drive payroll improvements for one country or group of small to medium size countries
2. Be a subject matter expert in M&A and expansions projects
3. Maintain the operational effectiveness of payroll processes from start to end
4. Collaborate with other payroll leaders to build a culture of balances and checks within the Payroll Operations Team to maintain an efficient and effective audit process
5. Collaborate in efforts to evaluate and redesign Payroll processes to align with the company's rapid growth and commitment to quality
6. Collaborate in a cross-department environment with HR, Tech teams, Finance, Accounting, and others to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented

1. Customer oriented and ready to serve
2. 3+ years of experience in EMEA Payroll processes & systems, deep controllership/statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labor code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations)
3. Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
4. Strong analytical and statistical skills - Proficient in obtaining, organizing, and analyzing data to make fact-based decisions and drive root cause analysis
5. English on advanced level

1. German language on advanced level
2. MS Office knowledge (macros, formulas)
3. Knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law
4. Familiar with SAP, Peoplesoft, Workday, ADP software
5. Experience in leading projects
6. Team focused with a particular ability to work across virtual teams
7. Sense of innovation
