Job Description:

We are recruiting for a field-based Sr Medical Liaison Manager Biosimilars/Immunology (f/m/d).

About This Role:

The Sr. Medical Liaison Manager (Sr. MLM) Biosimilars/Immunology is responsible for scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and key medical experts in Germany across several medical fields. You will contribute to and implement the medical-scientific strategy, develop presentations, engage with experts, identify evolving standards of care, and develop medical education activities, including understanding national disease registries and executing stand-alone projects.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Understand the scientific-medical landscape in Germany for relevant indications; build and maintain relationships with scientific experts and stakeholders.
  2. Identify critical medical-scientific issues and prepare communication documents to support field and office teams.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal, and Sales teams.
  4. Plan and coordinate medical events, including national congresses, with strategic medical content and innovative formats.
  5. Manage medical materials, incorporate new scientific topics, and collaborate in medical review processes.
  6. Oversee updates to marketing materials, ensuring compliance with current medical standards.
  7. Facilitate medical coaching and training, including presentations, advisory boards, digital events, and publications.
  8. Conduct strategic screening of the medical landscape and maintain relationships with opinion leaders.
  9. Coordinate Medical Advisory Board activities and ensure engagement with key medical experts.
  10. Contribute to the annual Integrated Product Plan aligned with business strategy.
  11. Handle second-level medical inquiries regarding product use, efficacy, side effects, guidelines, and studies.
  12. Deliver internal medical education and training across departments.
Who You Are:

You are a strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex medical information into actionable strategies. You have a strong understanding of the medical landscape, manage medical content, coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with top-tier medical experts. You thrive in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects with precision, and are capable of managing responsibilities across Germany, utilizing both face-to-face and virtual interactions.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree; Life science degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in biosimilars and/or immunology, with familiarity in rheumatology, gastroenterology, dermatology, ophthalmology.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs, Drug Safety, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Understanding of GCP and clinical trial conduct (preferred).
  • Knowledge of health economics and the German healthcare system.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and scientific analysis skills.
  • Strong networking and customer relations skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel.
