Position Overview
We are seeking a data-driven Senior Marketing Manager with a strong customer focus, analytical skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. This strategic role involves building our go-to-market strategy and executing initiatives to drive traffic and acquire new customers for Amazon stores. The ideal candidate can navigate ambiguity, develop and implement scalable traffic strategies, and leverage real-time data insights to better understand customer behavior. Collaboration across teams (Product, Tech, Finance, Legal) and with key stakeholders (EU XCM, NavX) is essential. The candidate should be able to amplify efforts through partner teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new traffic strategies in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Create EU-specific promotional messages and content tailored to local markets and events.
- Establish testing and experimentation protocols to derive data-driven insights and maximize traffic from onsite, off-Amazon marketing, and other channels.
- Lead the planning and execution of Sales & Deals events across functions.
- Build trust with partner teams to secure strategic placements within Amazon.
- Innovate to identify new traffic sources by working across Product, Tech, and Marketing teams.
- Coordinate with US teams to align global marketing strategies.
Location
The role can be based in London, Luxembourg, Munich, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, or Paris.
Basic Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, audience strategy, or media.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Proficiency in using data and metrics to measure impact and inform improvements.
- Experience managing or collaborating with cross-functional marketing and creative teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with high adaptability.
- Ability to influence senior leadership using data-driven insights.
- Deep knowledge of auction-based media such as programmatic and paid social.
- Experience owning traffic-driving strategies for high-priority shopping experiences.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in professional marketing roles.
- Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience in launching and scaling consumer software or hardware products.
- Knowledge of SQL or similar analytical tools.
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
