Your Impact

As part of the management team, the Professional Services Manager is responsible for delivering and providing sales support for all Life Science and Manufacturing services-related projects and opportunities. Focusing strongly on delivering excellence through consistent, repeatable methodologies, you will be highly commercially minded and able to concentrate efforts on building and closing high-value opportunities.

What the role offers

• Management of a team of highly qualified consultants and architects, with a particular focus on EIM industry topics.
• Individual and team development, growing the team, and onboarding of new consultants.
• Opportunity management in alignment with local PS commercial teams and all involved stakeholders.
• Responsibility for assigned solutions and packages in terms of innovation, maintenance and sales support
• Escalation management
• Alignment with relevant Product Management for the vertical and focus on best practice solution implementation.
• Supporting strategic engagements through cooperation with the advisory services team.
• Working closely with the management team of the Practice Verticals to drive business and standardisation within the team portfolio, facilitating knowledge exchange between teams and creating continuous learning paths within the Practice.

What you need to succeed

• Extensive industry and consulting experience with leadership of large project teams, particularly in Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or similar sectors.
• Proven project and sales expertise with a track record of delivering major projects using OpenText technology and selling industry-specific IT solutions and services.
• Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering cooperative and respectful team environments.
• Deep understanding of services/software business models, strategic planning, and a solid grasp of commercial and market dynamics.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and prioritisation skills, with business-fluent English and German.
• Willingness to travel as required.
