What’s it all about?

The Business Development Acceptance organization is responsible for enabling and growing the acceptance business in the Central European region, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. This role focuses on market development in underpenetrated non-carded areas such as Construction, Health, Gas & Electricity distribution, and in-vehicle payments, aiming to unlock these sectors for card-based spending and drive digital transformation.

What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Develop and execute strategies for new acceptance growth in underpenetrated sectors in Central European markets.
  • Create go-to-market plans for identified growth areas, including target markets, clients, pipeline, revenue goals, and align with leadership.
  • Build relationships with ecosystem players and third parties to promote Visa solutions.
  • Identify client needs and craft solutions to grow the business and increase satisfaction.
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Launch pilots of new and existing propositions to test concepts and showcase Visa capabilities.
  • Provide thought leadership and build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute sales opportunities.
  • Develop localized value propositions based on Visa’s products, APIs, and data analytics.
  • Optimize deal commercials to align investments with opportunities.

This position is hybrid; days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications
