Sr Fleet Solutions Manager, Global Fleet and Products (GFP)

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Sr Fleet Solutions Manager for our EU Global Fleet and Products Team. This role involves expanding fleet products, services, and programs for our AMZL last mile fleet, including the Fleet Service Center Network. Responsibilities include managing maintenance and repair products, developing innovative solutions to improve vehicle uptime, and collaborating with internal teams (WHS, Environment, Ops, Process Engineering) and external vendors to implement and enhance fleet solutions.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead business development and vendor scouting activities, defining program requirements based on customer input.
2. Oversee the operationalization of fleet service centers at delivery stations, from implementation to ongoing operation.
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure approvals for on-site projects.
4. Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, monitoring performance.
5. Coordinate the EU-wide rollout and continuous improvement of services.
6. Provide leadership updates and escalate product issues as needed.
7. Handle escalations from DSPs, site operations, and vendors; support product integration at spoke sites into the FSC network.

About the team

The team develops strategies for fleet service, maintenance, and repairs, managing the processes, infrastructure, and technology necessary for safe and cost-effective last mile delivery. They oversee the development, piloting, and integration of all related programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Experience in project management, automotive industry, fleet management, and program launch and expansion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with engineering and facilities equipment in Last Mile/distribution centers, including maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience with Last Mile facilities, distribution centers, or 3PL.
• Background in service, maintenance, repair, and infrastructure project management.
• Amazon Facilities experience and experience managing Amazon site projects.
