Sr Fleet Solutions Manager, Global Fleet and Products (GFP)
We are seeking a Sr Fleet Solutions Manager for our EU Global Fleet and Products Team. This role involves rolling out and expanding fleet products, services, and programs for the AMZL last mile fleet, including the Fleet Service Center Network. Responsibilities include managing maintenance and repair products for vehicles supporting Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), researching and deploying innovative solutions to enhance vehicle uptime, and collaborating with internal teams (WHS, Environment, Ops, Process Engineering) and external vendors to launch, expand, and improve fleet solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business development and vendor scouting activities, defining program requirements based on customer inputs.
- Operationalize fleet service centers at delivery stations, overseeing implementation and operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals of on-site projects (e.g., catalyst).
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors on-site, monitoring performance.
- Oversee the EU-wide rollout and continuous improvement of services.
- Provide leadership updates and escalate product issues as needed.
- Handle escalations from DSPs, site operations, and vendors, supporting product integration into the FSC network.
About the team
The team develops strategies for fleet service, maintenance, and repairs, owning the processes, infrastructure, and technology to enable safe and cost-effective last mile delivery for DSPs. They are responsible for developing, piloting, and integrating all service, maintenance, and repair programs.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Experience in project management, automotive industry, fleet management, and program launches and expansions.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with engineering and facilities equipment in Last Mile/distribution centers, including maintenance and safety procedures.
- Experience with Last Mile facilities/distribution centers and/or 3PL.
- Background in service, maintenance, and repair operations.
- Experience in construction and launching new infrastructure programs.
- Amazon Facilities experience.
- Experience managing building projects at Amazon sites.
