CAPE Environmental Management Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist with strong technical skills, leadership experience, and a background in environmental remediation. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment, brings field-informed insight to project execution, and can lead the technical side of complex remediation efforts from planning through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical aspects of environmental remediation projects, with an emphasis on implementation rather than investigation/design-only work.

  • Provide oversight on field activities, subcontractor coordination, and technical deliverables.

  • Contribute to proposal development, including technical writing, work plan strategy, and cost estimating.

  • Mentor junior staff and support team development across disciplines.

  • Embrace and implement technology solutions for project management, data tracking, and reporting.

Salary: $120K/year - $150K/year based on experience

Travel: Up to 20%

Qualifications

  • B.S. in related field such as engineering, environmental science, or geology

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental remediation, including both office and field experience.

  • Professional registration (PE, PG, or similar)

  • Management or supervisory experience leading teams or overseeing field operations.

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.

  • Experience with federal clients (e.g., DoD, EPA, USACE) is strongly preferred.
