SiTime seeks a Sr. Engineer, MEMS Assembly to bring up and evolve MEMS packaging technologies for next-generation timing products. The role emphasizes working with back-end assembly and packaging partners to deliver robust packaging solutions and high yields.

The candidate will collaborate with MEMS design, characterization, and Manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and production readiness while driving innovation in packaging technologies.

Qualifikationen

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with at least 5 years industrial experience.
• Experience with MEMS assembly and packaging.
• Solid MEMS foundation, including understanding of design–fabrication–packaging interactions.
• Experience with reliability characterization and yield analysis.
• Experience bringing MEMS products to production is preferred.

Job Summary

As a Sr. Engineer, MEMS Assembly you will use your creativity and technical expertise to bring up and evolve MEMS packaging technologies for SiTime's next-generation timing products. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and work closely with MEMS back-end assembly and packaging partners to develop, evolve, and troubleshoot cutting-edge MEMS wafer-level packaging technologies
• Evaluate impact of assembly processes on device performance and reliability and ensure high yield and quality.
• Work closely with MEMS design and characterization teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability (DFM) and validated.
• Coordinate and perform failure analysis to characterize and debug assembly process impact on MEMS devices
• Define next generation packaging technologies to enable breakthrough timing products.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years industrial experience.
• Experience with MEMS assembly and packaging.
• A solid base in MEMS, including basic understanding of MEMS design and interactions between design, fabrication, and packaging.
• Experience with reliability characterization and yield analysis.
• Experience in bringing MEMS products to production is preferred.
