Selling Partners (SPs) are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. Over 2 million Sellers sell on Amazon and we obsess over providing world-class support to them. In the EU, we continue to observe an unprecedented wave of legislation that impacts SP experience (for sellers and vendors), constrains selection, and jeopardizes growth. This increases the complexity and cost of selling in the EU and makes compliance the primary barrier to SP launches in the region.

Who are we? We are part of the Stores Compliance team, established in 2018. We started with 15 members and have grown to over 400 team members across 6 regions. As the De-risking Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks associated with program components, ensuring regulatory compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a product and program setup with multi-billion-dollar impact for Amazon. The candidate should have strong communication skills to work closely with stakeholders across multiple stores and functions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-visibility role involving WW Director and VP groups at Amazon.

In this role you will:

  • Work with Pan EU account management teams to drive vendor outreach and de-risking goals
  • Initiate, define, plan, and manage the rollout of program features and enhancements based on legislative changes in the Sustainability space
  • Own weekly and monthly reporting on initiative statuses, utilizing metrics to analyze issues and identify trends
  • Manage engagement with stakeholders in the US, India, and EU, including Tax, Legal, Operations, Tech, Retail, WW Social Responsibility, and RBS

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Define product vision and strategy
  • Create business cases, identify opportunities, and build organizational alignment around priorities and features necessary for scaling the product
  • Lead end-to-end launch of features from requirements to release
  • Collaborate with engineering, go-to-market, operations, and other product teams to improve product and customer experience
  • Plan resources needed for successful product delivery
  • Communicate releases, impacts, and timelines to leadership and stakeholders
  • Implement online sustainability training for internal employees and promote adoption among vendors, including success tracking

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing markets
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes or similar experience
  • Experience identifying trends to improve large-scale technology deals
  • Background in B2B or enterprise sales, especially in hunting new business opportunities
