SQAS-Specialist Transport Safety - parental leave substitution (m/f/d) - Hybrid Option GER

At Transportation Safety Services we ensure BASF's compliance with all applicable regulations concerning the transportation, storage and distribution of dangerous goods in Europe.

• With the scope on Logistics Service Provider (LSP) Assessment Systems, you act as a key contact person for all aspects of LSP qualification according to BASF’s Safety & Quality Assessment System for Sustainability (SQAS).
• You maintain BASF's assessment systems for logistics partners, advise and consult logistics procurement as well as the business units on safety and sustainability topics in supply chain and logistics transportation.
• Moreover, you monitor the performance of LSPs and keep a close collaboration with procurement and internal stakeholders.
• You contribute to CEFIC's SQAS initiatives.
• In cooperation with concerned logistics service providers, you execute SQAS transport services assessment desktop reviews and monitor improvement measures.

Please note that the position is limited until January 2026.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or comparable qualification.
• Experience in supply chain or transport logistics preferably in combination with EHSQ and knowledge of QM-, Audit- and Assessment systems in the chemical industry.
• Competent handling of applications in global supply chain reporting systems SCI.
• Familiar with IT standard applications and a good knowledge of SAP-based systems.
• Presentation and negotiating skills in English; German is a plus.

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience, 48.000 € - 52.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications. In addition, you can expect a bonus depending on the company's success as well as individual performance.
