MT Aerospace AG in Augsburg invites you to join our Spacecraft Tanks Systems Engineer team. You will ensure technical requirements are met, manage requirements processes, draft development and verification plans, and coordinate across interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑reliability spacecraft tanks for European launch programs.

Fluency in English, aerospace background, and familiarity with ESA ECSS are preferred; Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, MBSE and SAP knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. TU/FH) or comparable qualification.
• Experience in space systems or mechanical, thermal and propulsion subsystems.
• Strong organisational and interdisciplinary communication skills.

Your Tasks

• You will be responsible for ensuring that technical requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to within the specified budget
• You will create and manage the requirements management process
• You will independently draw up product and technology development plans
• You will be responsible for verification planning and management
• You will manage the technical aspects within the interdisciplinary team and coordinate collaboration with production development and quality assurance
• You will represent technical matters to the client
• You will prepare documentation and presentations on the project status and report to project management and line managers
• You will be responsible for the technical aspects of quotations relating to spacecraft tanks

Your Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. TU/FH) or a comparable qualification
• You have experience in the field of space systems or in the mechanical, thermal and propulsion (MTP) subsystems
• You demonstrate good organisational skills, a solution-oriented approach to work and the ability to communicate technical content within interdisciplinary teams
• You possess sound judgement regarding technical, economic and scheduling matters
• You demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
• You have a very good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of ESA ECSS regulations is an advantage
• Preferably, you have knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, CAD, MBSE and SAP
