Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS) is the procurement organization for Telefónica, located in Ismaning (near Munich), with 120 employees. All worldwide procurement activities of Telefónica are driven by TGS. Our local team is responsible for Telefonica operations in Germany, working closely with the global procurement team responsible for Europe and Latin America.

Your job:

1. Lead purchasing, price, and contract negotiations independently for the Telefónica network area, e.g., 5G core equipment, servers, transport equipment, software, installation, maintenance.
2. Develop and implement sourcing strategies in close collaboration with the technical department and global buyers.
3. Create concepts, decision templates, and presentations for management.
4. Work in close collaboration with the technical, financial, and legal departments.
5. Manage supplier relationships and stakeholder management for your categories.
6. Create tenders using the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) and monitor contract lifecycle management (SAP).
7. Hold a degree in business, engineering, or a related field; procurement experience is desirable but not mandatory.
8. Maintain a structured, solution- and result-oriented working approach.
9. Have a strong interest in technical insights.
10. Possess negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with technicians and suppliers.
11. Exhibit excellent communication and coordination skills.
12. Speak, write, and understand both English and German fluently; Spanish is an advantage.
13. Have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
