For our existing customer, a company in the precision mechanics and optics industry, we are looking for a Sourcing Project Manager (m/f/x) to start as soon as possible on a temporary employment contract.

Your responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of investment projects, including supplier interface management
• Coordinate and monitor supplier measures to align development and manufacturing processes with our product development
• Establish and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and coordinate their operational implementation
• Provide methods and tools for structured collaboration with suppliers
• Lead technical management of cross-functional teams interfacing with external partners across multiple investment projects, collaborating with development, quality, logistics, and purchasing teams

Your profile

• Technical, scientific, or commercial university degree with 3-5 years of professional experience
• Extensive project management experience, especially with complex investment projects involving machines and systems, and supplier collaboration
• Methodical, structured work approach with a focus on continuous process improvement (Kaizen)
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
