Your responsibility as the Solution Specialist for Medical Device Software Development is to advise and support clients in the medical technology and life science sectors throughout the initiation and realization of software development projects. You will provide expertise from the technical concept to the implementation of groundbreaking medical devices that shape the market.

Your tasks include:

• Creating client presentations, project concepts, offers, and other materials for client communication and acquisition
• Advising clients on defining and designing successful products, technical implementation, and project execution
• Establishing new software development projects and leading technical aspects in early project stages
• Producing expert publications and presentations for industry media and events
• Building trustworthy collaborations and relationships with decision-makers at client organizations
• Identifying requirements, obstacles, and potential solutions within clients' organizations

You should also possess:

• Extensive experience in IT as a software architect, developer, or consultant
• Background in the medical technology or life science industry
• Experience leading software development teams in a technical leadership role
• Expertise in creating, developing, documenting, and ensuring quality of software solutions for medical devices
• Proficiency in software development for Linux and Windows using C++, C#, .NET, embedded, and desktop environments
• Preferably experience with interoperability protocols (e.g., SDC / gRPC / MQTT) and related technologies
• Additional experience in cloud solutions, web applications, IoT, mobile apps, and related programming languages/frameworks (e.g., Java / Spring, TypeScript / Node.js / Angular / React, Python)
• Knowledge of medical standards such as HL7 FHIR, DICOM, IEEE 11073 SDC, and industry standards like ISO 13485, IEC 62304
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, especially SCRUM, and setting up technical project infrastructure
• Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in healthcare
• Stakeholder management and coaching skills
• Full professional proficiency in English, and preferably German
• Willingness to travel
• Client orientation, sales and business development affinity
• Target-driven, trustworthy, and excellent communication skills
