Role Overview

As a Solution Sales Specialist (d/f/m), you will drive sales growth by managing your territory effectively and presenting comprehensive Spatial Biology solutions to customers. Your responsibilities include prospecting, negotiating, and utilizing value selling techniques to meet customer needs and provide competitive quotes.

This position reports to the Market Development Manager and is part of the commercial team in EMEA, based in South Germany, working remotely to cover DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage sales territory effectively, maximizing opportunities through prospecting, opportunity development, and negotiation in the Spatial Biology market.
  2. Own the sales process and present full solution offerings to customers, demonstrating the value of our solutions through demonstrations and technical expertise.
  3. Quote customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity and competitiveness.
  4. Achieve and exceed sales targets, including forecasting and funnel management.
  5. Utilize value selling techniques to identify and address customer needs.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Multiple years of experience in a Life Science Research environment, with a solid understanding of Spatial Biology workflows.
  • Direct experience working in a lab environment, preferably with Spatial Biology expertise.
  • Background in science, with experience handling tissue samples and imaging proteomics.
  • Proven track record in technical solutions sales, ideally with capital equipment and consumables, including account management and building customer relationships.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays within your territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Experience in Spatial OMICS or multiplexing is a plus.
