Overview

Join a winning team at Imprivata. This remote role is based out of Germany and focuses on delivering pre-sales technical leadership as a Solutions Engineer (SSE) within the Solutions Engineering organization. The SSE supports the sales cycle by understanding customer technical and end-user workflow requirements, delivering customized product demonstrations and PoC evaluations, educating customers on Imprivata services, and developing statements of work when needed. The role requires travel within the assigned region and home-office work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-meeting discovery interviews with customer stakeholders to understand key technology, business, and end-user workflow requirements.
• Develop and present appropriate Imprivata solutions and implementation best practices through customized presentations and demonstrations.
• Articulate the business value of solution capabilities to both C-level and technical audiences.
• Develop proposals and key success criteria for PoC evaluations; deliver and manage PoC efforts.
• Develop estimates, proposals, and statements of work for professional and managed services engagements.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned Imprivata solutions as they evolve.
• Collaborate with Imprivata Sales Representatives to achieve strategic objectives and territory revenue goals.
• Provide enablement services to channel partners and assist them in selling and supporting Imprivata’s products and services.
• Provide tradeshow and demonstration support for marketing events.
• Respond to RFI/RFPs and security questionnaires; transition accounts post-sale to Professional and Managed Services teams.
• Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant solutions engineering, consulting, or system integration experience with one or more vendors or VARs in healthcare IT or cybersecurity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience staging and delivering technical demonstrations and PoCs.
• Experience supporting multiple sales/account teams and scoping/estimating professional and managed services.
• Experience selling within healthcare is strongly desired.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; effective web conference engagement (Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
• Residency within an hour’s commute to an airport serving major commercial airlines is highly preferred.
• Near-native fluency in German and high proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Broad expertise in: Windows, macOS, Linux thin clients; directory services and protocols; application virtualization; identity management and SSO; cloud and security technologies; cloud platforms; networking; IT governance and security frameworks; IT audit and regulatory familiarity.
