Primefold Real Estate Intelligence is seeking its first Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of the sales journey from discovery to pilots and value proofs. You will work with Asset, Investment, and IT teams, crafting tailored demos and guiding complex deals alongside Account Executives.

You will lead pilots, handover to implementation, and help shape the product with feedback. You should be fluent in German and English and able to manage multiple engagements independently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Solutions Engineer or similar pre-sales role at a software company
• Experience running demos and proofs of value, and supporting deals with Account Executives
• Experience handling technical objections and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Fluent German and English
• Ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Ability to manage several customer engagements independently

About the role

Primefold Real Estate Intelligence (RI) is our AI-native platform for real estate investment and asset management teams. It turns leases, rent rolls and financial reports into decisions teams can act on.

We are looking for our first (founding) Solutions Engineer. You turn customer needs into working solutions and help us win new customers. You own the technical side of the sales journey, from discovery and demos to pilots and proofs of value, and you support the handover into implementation. As we grow, you will have the chance to build your own SE team.

What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops with asset, investment, property management and IT teams, and turn their processes into a clear scope with measurable success criteria
• Build and deliver tailored demos that show how RI supports real customer work
• Work side by side with our Account Executives, scope opportunities, handle technical objections and present to senior stakeholders
• Own the technical delivery of pilots and proofs of value
• Support the handover to implementation and customer success, and help set up first customer workspaces where needed
• Bring customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and turn what you learn into reusable demos and playbooks

What you bring

• 2+ years as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar pre-sales role (sales engineer, pre-sales consultant, solutions architect) at a software company, ideally an AI company
• Experience running demos and proofs of value, and supporting deals together with Account Executives
• Experience handling technical objections and presenting to senior stakeholders
• The ability to explain complex things in a simple way
• Fluent German and English
• The ability to work independently and manage several customer engagements at once

Big pluses

• Real estate or PropTech knowledge, for example lease management, rent roll analysis, due diligence or investor reporting
• Experience with implementations or technical customer onboarding
• SQL or some coding (Python or JavaScript/TypeScript), and hands-on experience with APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and enterprise access controls
• Practical experience with AI tools and checking the quality of their output
• Experience in a start-up or growing software company

Location

Remote, but you must be based in Germany. Berlin preferred.
