What will I be doing :

Following the rapid growth of our customer base, Darktrace is looking to expand our team of Solutions Engineers. These fast-paced, technical, and customer-facing roles support our sales teams in meeting customer needs.

You will use your expertise to provide technical pre-sales and post-sales support, partnering with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to drive revenue growth and further the adoption of our products. These roles offer accelerated career development and numerous opportunities for personal advancement. You’ll receive extensive training and support to build upon your existing skills.

You’ll be the primary technical contact between clients, partners, and internal teams at Darktrace, providing your passion and expertise on our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to become a trusted advisor to our clients. Your technical excellence will be highly valued as you meet client and internal team needs, ultimately increasing revenue and client satisfaction. This role also involves:

  1. Working alongside sales teams to meet with clients regularly throughout the full sales process, being responsible for delivering Proof of Value (POV) engagements.
  2. Presenting Threat Intelligence Reports and advice to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.
  3. Designing and building custom client integrations and defining solution architectures.
What experience do I need :

We welcome applications from candidates with a technical background and existing sales engineer experience in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

This role is also suitable for technical graduates with a degree in computer science or a related field who are seeking a challenging, client-facing technical role that bridges technology and business.

Ideally, you will have a keen interest in cybersecurity with strong knowledge of network and security devices/systems (such as Cisco, Juniper, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM) and familiarity with TCP/IP and common networking protocols. You will likely have:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  2. The ability to work collaboratively in an innovative and fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  3. The ability to build long-lasting business relationships.
  4. Fluency in English and German is essential.
