We seek a Solutions Engineer to guide our customers in migrating legacy applications to microservices and the cloud. You will design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions, working closely with customer development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design:

1. Design and architect cloud-native solutions, focusing on microservices architecture.
2. Evaluate existing legacy applications and develop migration strategies to the cloud.
3. Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
4. Define best practices for cloud adoption, security, and performance optimization.

Customer Engagement & Collaboration:

1. Work closely with customer development teams to understand their requirements and challenges.
2. Provide technical guidance and mentorship on cloud technologies and microservices.
3. Lead workshops and presentations to educate customers on architectural patterns and best practices.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Technology & Implementation:

1. Select and integrate appropriate cloud services and technologies for customer solutions.
2. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure management.
3. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

1. Fluent in German. Good English writing and speech.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
3. Proven experience in software architecture with a focus on cloud and microservices.
4. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
5. Experience with designing and migrating legacy applications to the cloud.
6. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
7. Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL) and data structures.
8. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
