Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in network architecture or related role focused on SD-WAN and Cloud connectivity.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE are preferred.

Job Description

The Solution Architect WAN will be responsible to design, implement, and optimize our network services together with the internal teams. The incumbent will be responsible for designing a secure, reliable, and efficient architecture for network services related to the global WAN and cloud connect components that meet the needs of Continental Tires' internal clients.

We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to design, implement, and manage secure and scalable connectivity solutions for on-premise infrastructure and public cloud environments using SD-WAN technologies. This role is critical in enabling seamless hybrid cloud operations and ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of enterprise network traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SD-WAN-based connectivity between data centres, branch offices, and cloud platforms
• Configure and manage SD-WAN edge devices, cloud gateways, and orchestrators to ensure seamless hybrid connectivity.
• Define and enforce routing, segmentation, and security policies across hybrid environments.
• Support in managing, designing and operating the global hybrid SD-WAN environment
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or Python etc.
• Integrate and manage Checkpoint firewalls for secure perimeter and interconnect traffic.
• Design, implement and manage Azure & AWS Network Firewall policies for traffic inspection, filtering, and segmentation in cloud environments.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in network architecture or a related role, with a focus SD-WAN and Cloud connectivity
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialist
• Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE

Skills:

• Strong understanding of network technologies protocols
• Experience with network security principles and best practices
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex network architectures
• Familiarity with multi-cloud connectivity and cloud-native security services
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written and intercultural sensitivity
• Profound knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, trends and paradigms of IT
• Good Knowledge of Security Technologies
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and IPSec tunnels
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and SASE architectures
• Proven experience with SD-WAN technology
