One of our companies is currently looking for a Solutions Architect in Germany.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to guide enterprise customers through complex cloud transformations, using modern Infrastructure as Code practices. As a key technical partner in the pre-sales process, you’ll collaborate with sales teams to design scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions. You’ll work closely with advanced engineering teams to deliver technical expertise, build strong relationships, and position innovative solutions that transform cloud operations. If you're passionate about modern cloud architectures, automation, and customer success, this role will allow you to make a significant impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead pre-sales engagements by designing, presenting, and validating cloud architecture solutions for enterprise customers
  • Partner with sales executives to drive the technical sales cycle from discovery through proof-of-concept and final implementation
  • Deliver compelling demos and presentations that clearly articulate value and technical differentiation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer cloud and platform engineering teams
  • Champion customer feedback internally to influence product development and future roadmap
  • Stay current on modern DevOps practices, infrastructure tools, and public cloud trends
  • Foster relationships with both technical and executive stakeholders to ensure long-term success
  • 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, technical pre-sales, or consulting, ideally in cloud infrastructure and DevOps environments
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g. Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, F#)
  • Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies
  • Skilled with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with solution selling methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN)
  • Proven track record leading complex, technical sales cycles and delivering customer value
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Public cloud certifications and startup experience are a plus
  • Competitive base salary (range: €136,000 – €176,000 EUR) + 30% commission/variable
