Overview
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Solution Sales Lead, you play a crucial role in converting qualified leads into opportunities for Energy Drive Systems across the EMENA region. Your mission is to support new market opportunities, assess and qualify leads, and build relationships with decision-makers in target industries such as metals, cement, mining, and wastewater. You will collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to technical solution development and proposal delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES - KEY ACTIVITIES
- Support in qualify new prospects and industries suitable for Energy Drive’s offerings.
- Contributor to outbound research and outreach to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Engage with C-level decision-makers and build strong relationships in target industries.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to run targeted campaigns and events.
- Work closely with Energy Solutions Engineers and Project Engineers to align commercial and technical strategy.
- Support early-stage proposal development and ensure client needs are well understood.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular pipeline reports.
- Actively promote the company’s energy efficiency and decarbonization value proposition across the EMENA region.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a regional prospecting plan across core and adjacent industrial markets.
- Continuously map and research the market to uncover unmet client needs.
- Schedule and lead first contact meetings with qualified prospects.
- Maintain close collaboration with the engineering and operations teams to ensure realistic and compelling solutions.
- Provide insights and feedback from the market to support product and service development.
SPECIFIC KPI’s
- Monthly target of qualified new leads added to CRM.
- Number of first contact meetings scheduled and conducted.
- Opportunities converted from lead to pre-sales stage.
- New industries or segments identified and validated.
- Contribution to team sales targets through lead generation and deal origination.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industrial B2B sales cycles.
- Familiarity with solution selling, concepts like MEDDIC and SANDLER mythology is an advantage.
- Experience in energy efficiency, industrial automation, or decarbonization solutions is an advantage
- Excellent command of English (C1+), additional languages in EMENA are a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years in B2B sales
- Experience selling complex technical or energy-related solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and building relationships from scratch.
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures.
