RxREVU, Inc. in Munich is seeking a founding Solution Engineer to own the technical side of enterprise sales, spanning demos to signed deals at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering.
You will build PoCs on real customer data, participate in integrations, data, and security discussions, and translate insights back to product teams. Native German is required and on-site work in Munich is expected.
This is a founding Solution Engineer position at a Y Combinator-backed AI startup automating quoting and order processing for distributors and manufacturers. You will own the technical side of enterprise sales, sitting at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering, and your work directly determines whether complex deals get won.
Own all technical aspects of major deals, from the first demo through to a signed customer.
Dig into customer workflows to identify the use cases that best showcase the product's value in their specific context.
Join sales conversations as the credible technical counterpart on integrations, data, security, and architecture.
Build demos and proofs of concept on customers' real data, not idealized scenarios.
Translate deal insights back to the product and engineering teams, distinguishing between demo-only requests, quick custom builds, and core product needs.
2 or more years in Solution Engineering, technical customer success, technical consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, with solid experience working with APIs and integration architectures.
Hands-on experience delivering proofs of concept and live demos using customers' real data within enterprise sales cycles.
Solid understanding of enterprise data security, privacy, and integration considerations, including ERP and CRM environments.
Native-level German communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and stay composed during live technical demos.
A track record of hearing the real problem behind a customer request and translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
Commercial judgment: you can read a room, spot the real blocker, and help move deals forward.
Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Salary range: 80,000 to 130,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
