LumApps is seeking a Solution Consultant DACH in Hamburg, Germany.
Our Presales team works with our sales team to translate customer vision and strategy into solutions during the sales process. Our Solutions Consultants act as trusted advisors, assisting in pre and post-sales conversations for advice and support.
Solution Consultants must be active listeners, paying close attention to customer pain points and challenges, and able to provide feedback, respond appropriately, with high self-awareness.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with prospects, partners, and clients as a technical and functional advisor;
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and vice versa, understanding challenges and offering tailored solutions aligned with LumApps' and the customer's needs;
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and determine solution fit;
- Participate in customer and prospect site visits, operational information gathering, demonstrations, and presentations;
- Manage RFP and RFI responses in coordination with sales and other teams;
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Professional Services Teams;
- Provide product training, support, and enablement to customers and LumApps team members;
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and marketing events;
- Design and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers at all levels;
- Expected Travel: 30%
Skills and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Implementation Specialist;
- Over 5 years of working experience;
- SaaS background with sales skills to support customer demonstrations and presentations;
- Strong understanding of sales and buying cycles;
- Native German speaker and fluent in English;

Preferred Experience
- Experience with Intranet/Digital Workplace tools (e.g., LumApps, Jive, Unily, SharePoint, Beezy, Igloo, Interact, Simpplr);
- SaaS experience in Professional Services or Pre-Sales Support/Engineering;
- Enterprise Sales experience;
- Strong G-Suite or MS background;
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
