Responsibilities
- Lead business dialogue with SAP Product Teams and Engineering regarding SAP workloads to meet commercial and technical customer demands, while shaping attractive offers.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP Workloads on Azure, addressing inquiries from business partners and developing your areas of expertise.
- Engage and collaborate with SAP Line of Business counterparts, engineering, and deal teams to create joint proposals and influence SAP to prefer Azure as the hyperscaler.
- Optimize architecture for the best price-performance ratio and provide feedback to engineering teams on technical patterns or gaps.
- Collaborate closely with field sales teams on technical and financial aspects of SAP Workloads and SAP RISE deals.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in SAP and Microsoft organizations.
- Support process optimization and simplification activities.
- Brief Microsoft Executives on complex sales opportunities, including competitive strategies and close plans.
- Influence Azure SAP GTM strategies by providing feedback on current and future product requirements.
- Share knowledge, learnings, and drive initiatives that impact customers, partners, and Microsoft, encouraging thought leadership.
- Lead multi-million-dollar deals, orchestrating virtual teams across industry, solution, technical, licensing, legal, SI, and ISV partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience, or 5+ years of experience; Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in sales or account management with pre-sales or consulting, deep expertise in SAP NetWeaver platform.
- Experience leading sales teams, planning, opportunity qualification, stakeholder communication, needs analysis, and deal negotiation.
- Proven ability to sell to C-Suite executives, aligning SAP on Azure with strategic business opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to cloud technologies.
- Ability to influence virtual teams and lead sales orchestration.
- Technical certifications: AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate and AZ-120 Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty.
- Knowledge of SAP RISE solutions, architecture sizing, and co-engineering projects.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Microsoft server products and solutions.
- Experience with SAP landscape sizing, demos, and installations based on SAP NetWeaver.
- Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, cloud infrastructure competitors, and large cloud engagement leadership.
- Strong partner engagement and management skills focused on SAP practices.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentation and writing.
- Proven decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
