WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The unit "Digitalization of Site Logistics Management & Operations" supports BASF's divisions in responding to logistical challenges and issues with digital solutions. You will belong to an international and multidisciplinary agile DevOps team in charge of transforming the operations of BASF sites by applying consulting and latest technologies, including mobile applications, IoT devices, cloud computing, among others.

1. Your main responsibility will be to design the architecture of our future digital solutions that will enable the area of Yard Management to adapt, renovate and extend its portfolio according to new market trends and best practices.
2. You work closely with our Enterprise Architects, bridging the gap between BASF’s IT Architecture and the delivery units in our product teams.
3. Furthermore, you receive technical requirements from our product delivery squads through our Product Owners and other Architects and collaborate closely with our biggest sites in Europe to support them in achieving their digitalization goals.
4. You support the solution design of new implementations and new products ensuring the alignment with the overarching architecture and strategy.
5. In addition, you collaborate with other teams responsible for the development of different ERP modules to enable our Yard Management Solutions to be integrated in multi-ERP scenarios and support the design and implementation of a generic integration layer of industrial devices (weighbridges, traffic barriers, traffic lights, etc.).
6. You support the technical DevTeam to ensure that all cloud solutions can be integrated with our ERPs and make sure that the solution architectures are compliant by design with cybersecurity rules, following the principle of zero-trust.

WHAT YOU OFFER

1. More than 10 years’ experience in IT with experience as technical consultant in SAP technology Stack.
2. Experience in Cloud Technologies: Azure/AWS/Google PaaS, SAP BTP, Operations Platform, Data Integration technologies: API Mgmt., Kafka and SAP CI/PO.
3. Technical skills in S/4 Hana, S/4 TM, Fiori / Fiori Elements, Restful Application Programming (RAP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Java and JavaScript, etc.
4. Fluent communication in English, German skills are a plus.
5. Growth mindset and self-driven motivation to lead disruptive initiatives and great collaboration skills and high degree of capabilities to work and deliver independently.
