To strengthen our Practice Hybrid Cloud, we are seeking an engaged and motivated Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) for one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.Your Responsibilities:

• Supporting the sales team during the presales phase
• Processing tenders in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments
• Gathering customer requirements and developing solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate)
• Presenting and explaining our solution portfolio at management level, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure & Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
• Creating technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware, software, and services cost calculations
• Assisting in preparing bids and tenders
• Managing Proof of Concepts
• Developing architecture concepts
• Deriving optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architecture solutions for on-premise and cloud deployments
• Conducting workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams

Your Profile:

• A technical or business administration degree with a technical focus or comparable qualification
• Several years of presales experience
• Experience with tenders in the public sector
• Proven expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL database management
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architectures in both on-premise and cloud environments from major providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle)
• Analytical skills and social competence
• Responsibility and reliability
• Proficiency in German and English (at least C1 level)
• Self-directed and structured working style
• Willingness to further educate oneself and learn new topics independently
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level)
• Willingness to travel (50%)
