We are looking for a Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) to strengthen our Practice Hybrid Cloud at one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the sales organization during the presales phase.
• Handle tenders in the Oracle and PostgreSQL environment.
• Gather customer requirements and develop solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate).
• Present and explain our solution portfolio at management level, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure & Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS).
• Create technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware, software, and service cost calculations.
• Assist in preparing offers and tenders.
• Manage proof of concepts.
• Develop architecture concepts.
• Derive optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architecture solutions for on-premise and cloud deployments.
• Conduct workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams.

Your Profile:

• Technical or business administration degree with a technical focus or comparable qualification.
• Several years of presales experience.
• Experience in handling tenders in the public sector.
• Proven expertise with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architecture solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments from major providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle).
• Analytical skills and social competence.
• Responsibility and reliability.
• Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1).
• Independent and structured working style.
• Willingness to further train and learn new topics independently.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level).
• Willingness to travel (50%).
