To strengthen our Practice Hybrid Cloud, we are seeking an engaged and motivated Solution Architect Database Solutions (all genders) for one of our locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the sales team during the presales phase
• Handling tenders in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments
• Understanding customer requirements and developing solutions considering the IT lifecycle (Plan, Build, Operate)
• Presenting and explaining our solution portfolio at management level, especially for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure & Oracle Cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
• Creating technical foundations for proposals (SOW), including hardware, software, and service cost calculations
• Assisting in preparing offers and tenders
• Managing proof of concepts
• Developing architecture concepts
• Deriving optimal Oracle and PostgreSQL database architectures for on-premise and cloud deployments
• Conducting workshops and webcasts on database topics for clients and sales teams

Your profile:

• A technical or business administration degree with a technical focus or equivalent training
• Several years of presales experience
• Experience in handling tenders in the public sector
• Proven expertise with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL architectures in both on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle)
• Analytical skills and social competence
• Responsibility and reliability
• Proficiency in German and English (at least C1 level)
• Independent and structured working style
• Willingness to continuously learn and explore new topics
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially at management level (C-Level)
• Willingness to travel (50%)
