What you’ll do

• You are responsible for the requirements analysis and the analysis of the integration capabilities of the customer's existing or planned systems and facilities.
• You are responsible for the design of the solution and the planning and distribution of the necessary tasks in the team.
• You are responsible for the quality assurance and maintenance of the created software applications.

Together with our customers and partners, you develop customer-specific automation solutions for production in the high-tech industry, which includes many production-relevant software systems as well as physical systems such as production plants and transport systems.

For the development you use standard software as well as special SYSTEMA products for integration and automation.

If required, you will also assist in the specification of the interface of the systems and equipment to be integrated.

Nice to have skills & knowledge:

• Use of modeling tools:
  • Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect
• In addition to knowledge of common programming interfaces such as REST, experience with interfaces for communicating with production equipment, such as OPC UA, SECS/GEM (specific to semiconductor manufacturing), Modbus, MQTT, etc.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Apache ActiveMQ or TIBCO Enterprise Message Service or Rendezvous
• Relational database systems, especially Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of web-based GUI development using TypeScript and Angular

What you’ll need to succeed

To get started as a successful Solution Architect EIA (Equipment Integration and Automation) with us, you need:

• Experience with customer requirements analysis and as a software architect or technical project manager
• Very good understanding of software architectures and object-oriented analysis and design
• Analytical skills and solid knowledge of design and development with Java or other similar object-oriented programming languages
• Know-how in the field of system integration and integration of production systems
• The ability to delegate development tasks in a team and advise on implementation
• Completed studies in computer science or a related field or comparable practical experience
