Solution Architect – IS&O Manufacturing

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced GxP Solution Architect to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for manufacturing domains, producing architecture artifacts and ensuring alignment with reference architectures.

You will lead cross-team collaborations across IT, OT, security, and data, embed GxP and compliance into designs, assess build-versus-buy options, and guide implementation to release readiness. Global role requiring coordination across time zones and strong communication.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with GxP-regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ISA-95/ISA-88/ISA/IEC 62443.
• Preferred ISA/IEC 62443 and TOGAF certifications.
• ISA-95 / ISA-88 training or certification is nice-to-have.
• GAMP 5 or GxP / Computer System Validation certification is nice-to-have.

Aufgaben

• Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution designs in the GxP Manufacturing domain.
• Produce and maintain solution architecture artifacts, including diagrams, data flows, interface definitions, and technology selections.
• Determine whether initiatives meet Architecture Review Board entry criteria and prepare review inputs.
• Perform architecture impact assessments across IT, OT, data, and security domains.
• Define and validate build-versus-buy options, patterns, and integration approaches.
• Review designs for alignment with approved patterns and reference architectures.
• Work with engineering and delivery teams to clarify design intent, resolve issues, and ensure correct implementation.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, sequencing, and integration points.
• Embed security, compliance, and infrastructure requirements into designs, including GxP, identity, data protection, connectivity, and IT/OT segmentation.
• Validate architecture dependencies, risks, and constraints for release readiness.
• Document and track architecture risks, exceptions, technical debt, and remediation plans.
• Support ARB decision-making and elevate risks, conflicts, and design deviations to the Solution Architecture Lead.
• Coordinate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, application, and site engineering teams.
• Improve design quality and consistency, reduce rework, speed delivery, and improve inspection readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years in manufacturing, OT, automation, or GxP solution architecture or engineering
• Experience with MES, DCS/SCADA, historians, laboratory systems, and industrial integration patterns
• Experience designing IT/OT architectures, network segmentation, industrial DMZs, secure data flows, and resilient site solutions
• Experience working with Manufacturing, Automation, Quality/Validation, Security, Infrastructure, Data, and site engineering teams
• Experience in GxP-regulated environments required
• Familiarity with ISA-95, ISA-88, and ISA/IEC 62443
• Preferred certifications: ISA/IEC 62443 and TOGAF
• ISA-95 / ISA-88 training or certification is nice-to-have
• GAMP 5 or GxP / Computer System Validation certification is nice-to-have
• Strong expertise in GxP manufacturing technologies and architecture
• Ability to design and document end-to-end solutions and integrations
• Understanding of cross-domain dependencies across IT, OT, security, and data
