Job Description

The Solution Architect External Access Services will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our Business Partner Access services portfolio alongside the service team.

The incumbent will design a secure, reliable, and efficient architecture for external access that meets the needs of Continental Tires, connected companies, and external partners. The role also involves identifying synergies across other solutions within the Tires IT infrastructure to develop cohesive target designs.

In detail, your tasks include:

1. Architecture and Design: Lead the redesign of Business Partner Access services to meet evolving needs. Develop robust architectures for external access, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency.
2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, vendors, technical teams, and business units, to align solutions with their requirements.
3. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on BPA technologies, best practices, and oversee implementation to ensure effective deployment.
4. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and optimize BPA services for high availability and security compliance.
5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, architectures, and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Experience in network architecture, focusing on VPN and RADIUS

Skills:

• Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols
• Knowledge of network security principles
• Experience designing complex network architectures
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google Cloud)
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of agile frameworks, ITSM, and DevOps is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• Proven experience as a network architect
• Knowledge of current IT trends and paradigms
