I am hiring a Solution Architect on behalf of a German manufacturing company who are renowned for their commitment to precision and creativity. They design and manufacture advanced systems and components that meet the most demanding standards and have been operating for over a century!

Responsibilities:

1. Development Creating roadmaps to optimize and manage the life cycles of the company's global IT landscape.
2. Evaluating the business criticality, technical fit, and rationalization potential of applications.
3. Designing and evolving a comprehensive cloud strategy.
4. Assisting business and IT teams in crafting an IoT roadmap and strategy.
5. Building and enhancing the global IT architecture to enable centrally managed IT services.
6. Developing a migration plan to transition from the current IT architecture to the target state.
7. Providing guidance and support to solution architects.

This role is hybrid in Bielefeld or Düsseldorf 50% of the time.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Relevant degree e.g. Information Technology or Business Informatics.
2. 5 years' experience in the field of enterprise or solution architecture.
3. Project management experience.
4. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing IT harmonization strategies.
5. Extensive knowledge spanning multiple IT technologies.
6. Skilled in effectively communicating with middle and senior management.
7. Minimum C1 level German or above with a good knowledge of English.
