We are looking for an onsite Software Validation Engineer (m/f/d/x) for our validation team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities / Tasks
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, automated test sequences and test scripts for control systems
Perform functional and performance testing on control system software
Collaborate with software engineers (internal/external) and project managers
Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective
Take ownership for test projects in terms of time and cost planning
Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Software Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes in all project phases from requirements analysis to go-live
Experience with automated testing tools
ISTQB-Certificate min. Foundation Level required
Proficiency in programming languages like C++, C#, ASP.NET, Vue.js as well as in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
Familiarity with control systems and embedded systems is highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of refrigeration systems or HVAC industry is a plus
Fluent English language (C1/2), German language (B2)
